Cookie settings
SciLit only uses the cookies and storage the site needs to work: signing in, security, your language, your progress. No advertising, no tracking. That's why there's no banner: nothing optional is switched on unless you choose it.
Some content comes from other services: YouTube videos and the OpenStreetMap map. Like our technical statistics, they stay off by default. You can switch them on below, or load a video or the map just once, where it appears.

Changing your mind
You can change your choices on this page at any time, as easily as the first time. Switching an option off doesn't delete the cookies YouTube has already stored: you can remove them in your browser settings.
Everything SciLit keeps in your browser (settings, progress, answers) can be erased in your browser settings, under the site data for this address.
