🎓How does the platform work?

SciLit is a free e-learning platform that consists of 6 interactive modules teaching you how to recognize misinformation and pseudoscientific claims, understand cognitive biases, and develop critical thinking skills to protect human rights.

Each module includes short video lessons, interactive activities, mini-games, and quizzes. You progress at your own pace and can track your advancement through your personal dashboard.

The platform is available in English, French, Italian, Romanian, Hungarian, Slovenian, Bulgarian, and can be accessed from any device with an internet connection.

👥Who can participate?

SciLit welcomes young people (16-30 years old), youth workers, educators, facilitators - and anyone passionate about developing critical thinking skills!

Youth workers and educators can access our special facilitation track with 6 additional modules and ready-to-use teaching toolkits to bring SciLit into their workshops and training sessions.

🏆Do I get a certificate or badge?

Yes! Upon completing all 6 modules, you receive a Youthpass Certificate — the EU's official tool for validating non-formal learning through the Erasmus+ programme.

As you progress, you'll also earn digital badges showcasing your achievements - perfect for sharing on social media and LinkedIn.

Plus, you unlock collectible cards featuring Human Rights articles and critical thinking techniques throughout your learning journey.

💻What are the technical requirements?

SciLit works on any modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) on desktop, tablet, or mobile devices. No installation or download is required.

You need a stable internet connection to access the content. Most activities work offline once loaded, but progress is saved when you're connected.

Creating an account is free and only requires a valid email address. Your data is stored securely and never shared with third parties.
